The review, stage by stage.
Six short guides, one per judgment moment: from your first import to the export you hand a co-author. Read in order the first time; jump straight to the stage you're standing in after that.
- 1 Your first extraction Bring your included studies in, preview each paper for free, then run extraction over the ones that are ready.
- 2 The receipt Click any extracted number to open its receipt: the verbatim source quote, the cited derivation, and its verification status, three facts kept apart.
- 3 Reviewing evidence Accept, edit, reject, or flag every extracted value from one forest-by-outcome view, and see exactly what each decision changes downstream.
- 4 The quality queue Instead of scanning every extracted number, work the ones most likely to be wrong first. The quality queue ranks each value by how much it needs you, and shows its reasoning.
- 5 Pooling across studies How the Synthesis tab pools your accepted values into one forest per outcome, and why every diamond stays provisional until you accept its members.
- 6 Exports & the trust trail The file you hand a co-author or Reviewer 2: metafor, RevMan, or a workbook, each carrying the provenance, verification, and decision audit behind every value.
